BIG Improvements to Bankers Homeowners Processes

You spoke - we listened! We have BIG news! Based on your feedback, we've implemented two significant improvements to our Homeowners processes

  • Effective 11/1/17: Prior to sending a cancellation notice, Bankers will now be sending Underwriting Request Letters to insureds. This will give the homeowner opportunity to resolve any outstanding underwriting issue prior to receiving a cancellation notice.
  • For renewal inspections, Bankers is now mailing a letter or postcard directly to the insured informing them our inspection company will be contacting them to schedule a time to come by their property to complete an inspection. As you are aware, we are randomly re-inspecting renewal properties at Bankers expense, prior to renewal. Sending a notification to the insured will eliminate the homeowner being caught off guard when an inspector calls to schedule an appointment.
