New Business Reinstated in Texas
 with Restrictions


​​​​​Effective immediately, Binding Authority is reinstated (due to Hurricane Delta binding restrictions) for wind business for all Personal Lines, Builders Risk, and Commercial Lines in Texas.

Due to exposure management, effective Tuesday, October 13, 2020, restrictions are in place for all New Business written in Bankers' Pristine Homeowners (HO-3) Program. See details below.

New Business Restriction Highlights


Pristine Homeowners (HO-3); Effective October 13, 2020

  • Harris, Ft. Bend, and Montgomery Counties closed for new HO-3 business
  • All Texas Counties: Roofs must be 10 years and newer
    • Renewals will not be affected by this change
  • Builders Risk, Commercial, and NFIP Flood remains open

Quotes already started need to be bound in the system by 8:00 AM Central Time, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, prior to the restrictions going into affect.
